As a student-led startup supported by NatWest and part of the FI Investment Fund Pre-Seed Accelerator boasting a talented team of 20+ students from the UK's top universities like Warwick, Durham, and Imperial, we're committed to redefining the food landscape once and for all.
• Our innovative platform combines the social media aspects of Snapchat and TikTok, allowing users to browse each other's recipes and easily add them to a shopping list. FoodCLUB is not just about sharing recipes; we're also pushing the boundaries of technology by utilizing AI and machine learning to help recommend preferences and substitute ingredients based on diet and taste, recommend recipes based on leftovers and also scan fridge ai model.
• I am an intern working as a Back-End Software Engineer in the Tech department's Back-end Team of FoodClub. My responsibilities include developing server-side logic using JavaScript and Node.js, creating and maintaining APIs, managing the database using Amazon DynamoDB, and implementing security measures such as data encryption and user authentication. My work is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning and data management of the application.
